FAQ

How many teaspoons in a tablespoon?

3 teaspoons make 1 tablespoon — the single most useful kitchen conversion to memorise.

Is a US cup the same as a metric cup?

No. A US cup is ~237 ml; a metric cup (AU/NZ) is 250 ml. This tool uses US customary units.

Can I convert millilitres to grams here?

Only for water, where 1 ml ≈ 1 g. Other ingredients have different densities — use the cups to grams tool for those.
